Challenge
While Antimatter had found traction through meme-based learning tools in classrooms, the team recognized a deeper, persistent need in education: helping students truly master subject material, not just memorize it. Traditional tools like ChatGPT offered answers, not understanding. Quiz platforms focused on rote memorization, not adaptive learning or conceptual depth.
Educators lacked tools that:
Assessed and *responded* to individual students’ mastery.
Encouraged meaningful engagement rather than passive consumption.
Could be trusted in a classroom environment with transparency and control.
Meanwhile, students were often isolated in their learning journey—missing the social, competitive, and collaborative dynamics that make learning engaging.
Our client was struggling to attract and retain customers due to an outdated and non-responsive website that didn't align with their brand identity.
Goal
Our goal was to create a modern and visually appealing website that reflected the client's brand and delivered a seamless user experience. The website needed to be responsive, easy to navigate, and optimized for search engines to improve their online visibility.
Result
Sorcerer launched in beta in late 2023 to strong enthusiasm from teachers and students alike. It successfully blended the structure of formative assessment with the energy of competitive learning
“It’s like a game, but I’m actually learning something. And I want to beat my friends.” — Student user
Highlights:
Differentiated AI questioning: Unlike other tools, Sorcerer tailors its questions based on prior student performance, scaffolding learners toward deeper understanding.
Integrated classroom flow: Teachers used Sorcerer after meme activities, closing the loop on creative engagement with analytical understanding.
Transparency & control: Teachers could limit topics, view all student interactions, and use the tool for formative insights.
Social learning meets solo master: Students enjoyed sharing topics, competing with friends, and seeing their relative scores, all while sharpening their subject understanding.
Usability and trust: The team streamlined onboarding with a simple setup modal, default topic suggestions, and easy first interactions—reducing barriers to classroom use.
Sorcerer continues to evolve as both a teacher’s assistant and a student’s secret weapon—delivering on Antimatter’s broader mission to build the best learning experiences on the internet.
Our team developed a custom website design that was not only visually stunning but also user-friendly and optimized for search engines. The client's website now showcases their products and services in a professional and engaging manner, and has seen a significant increase in organic traffic and customer engagement. The client is thrilled with the final result and has received positive feedback from their customers.
